The VPO's Custom MG 1 on Ebay..

Post by Nick Montoya » Tue Jan 03, 2012 12:42 pm

Thats right Moogies..

First of all, I quit my day job last fall and started my own vintage keyboard retail and repair shop in SW Washinton State (near Portland Oregon). If you are ever in the area please drop by and see me at ADVENTURES IN ANALOG !

So, We recently upgraded to an Opus 3 and therefore are selling our beloved MG1 on Ebay..

It's been a while since I've chimed in on the forum, so sorry to return with what some might think is spammy..

I just thought I'd give yall a heads up. You too can own this amazing custom MG1 with wood panels and all brand new sliders and switches- as well as all new slider caps/knob covers! The price is kinda high, but considering what an "untouched" MG1 can go for on ebay, 750.00 (untouched meaning full of foam rot and crappy sliders) I think the price reflects the amazing rebuilt condition and customization. The wood panels were made with love by long time keyboard guru Larry Church.. When I moved up here from Cali, Kevin Lightner referred me to Larry.. And Wow, Larry is really a cool dude! He harvested the black locust wood off of his own property, cured it, made a custom jig and is now pumpin' out these gorgeous MG/Rogue panels! I have an extra pair of em too.. ;) Any MG1/Rogue owners out there who want to "pimp out" their beloved synth? lol

I think it's a beauty and of course "one of a kind" : (sorry the pics are big and get kinda cut off)

Well, I re-listed my MG1 for 100.00 less than originally ..

The auction has 6 hours left!

If any of you are wanting the most amazing MG1 ever, here's your chance!

But wasn't your previous auction (which has ended) starting at $900 ? I don't think the actual "buy it now" price of $875 is 100.00 less than previously, do you ? Unless you're talking in Pesos or something...
