Post by david » Tue May 24, 2011 8:27 pm

Was there ever an OPUS 1 or 2??
Can anyone shed any light on how this name came to be??

Just curious.

Three audio signal paths - Strings, Organ and Brass. Strings has a nice sounding variable mode (LP, BP, HP) filter - Strings or organ can be routed through a chorus circuit - brass has its own VCF and EG. You can mix the three audio / signal processing sources in stereo.

The brass section is one of the best things of the Opus 3. I have one and it works perfect. It's just amazing. If anyone has one with some section not working good, you must send the opus to a electronic technician, maybe the tension it's no coming to the section. And if there anyone who wants to sell one, just let me know.

I'm a little late in getting to this but Herb Deutsch originally wanted to call the "Opus 3" the "SOB" but they wouldn't go for it.
