Headphones for deep hearing ? [ Dark Matriarch & Subharmonicon ]

Post by archer_root » Sun Nov 14, 2021 5:14 pm

Your favorite unknown home-free Moog experi-mentalist has conceded to living and working indoors this Winter. And that means temporary sound control. I’m not going to modify a space that isn’t “mine”. So how about the most profound headphones that you’ve actually experienced yourself ?

Asking for headphone recommendations,
seeing that my Beyerdynamic DT 770 M cans
(for traps) can’t cut it with the Moog.

Please send help.

If you are running through a DAW, the Slate VSX system is phenomenal.
I use my old ATM50s and Sennheiser 650s when I'm just tinkering.
Moog IIP, One 16V and MiniMoog, DotCom/FSFX/Moon/STG 110, Cubase 12Pro, Ableton Live 10/64, RME UFX+, 2xMR816, MioXL, Expressionist, Cirklon, Analog Rytm Mk II, Axon AX50, Customized Variax JTV69s (the Hexstainocaster), Strat, Godin ACS Slim, Helix.

Due to budget constraints and the lack of a home / workspace, I am avoiding DAW at this point.

Havin’ said that, I’m always keen on hearing about people’s favorite set-ups, though, especially if I can replicate it on an iPad Pro.

I love the work you’re doing!

I have a pair of Apex HP35 closed back headphones. They're really inexpensive. But the bass goes down below my ability to hear. Like when you do a filter sweep I can feel it moving before I can start to hear it.

Join your recommendation. I've purchased Sennheiser wireless headhones for my boyfriend a year ago and I'm still seeing how he's safisfied with them. Moreover, he continue saying that these are the best headphones he ever had.

I have used the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live R180 Headphones and I appreciate their uniqueness and sound quality slope game. AKG technology, the headset has optimized the listening experience better with vivid and resonant sound.

Dt770 is best for vocals and voice because they seem to exclude a lot else.

Synths, AKG, Don't, AT, Sehnheiser open give more bass accuracy, closed it bleeds less through mic.

There is no best lol, there is accurate though.
