your opinion about servicing a prodigy...

Hello,
I need to mod my prodigy (add cv & gate input and output + audio input), and while making the mods I would like to have the machine completely serviced…

I’ve read somewhere along this forum about a German guy who makes upgrades on MemoryMoog’s (LAMM), so I took a look at his website and it looks like he also makes repairs and servicing on old synths as well.
I’m talking about Rudi (Lintronics), and I have to say that he looks pretty skilled about Moog synths… so the question is:

Would you guys suggest me Rudi as a good choice for making servicing and mods on my Prodigy?

I know this question might look inpolite, but I had a very bad experience with a “fake” tech in the past, and I don’t wanna repeat this experience again. My synth is very precious to me, so I want to put it into good hands… furthermore, I will have to ship my synth to Germany, so I want to be sure about what I’m doing…

I will appreciate your opinions as you probably are much more experienced than me…

Why not write to Rudi directly and ask him? :slight_smile:

Not all techs work on all units or have openings available, so the only person that could really answer your questions would be him.

Is he qualified to work on your Prodigy though?

I did it, and he was really kind and replied really fast to my email, so I had a very good impression…
I just wanted to have your opinion since you guys seem to know him (or his reputation/job at least) very well… and maybe someone of you already had experiences with him…
