I hadn’t used my ribbon controller in a while and I decided to patch it in this morning. It seems it’s no longer outputting a signal any more - or, at least, it’s VERY weak. For instance, when I patch the CV OUT to the FILTER CUTOFF, nothing really happens when I sweep the ribbon. When I send it to the attenuator and jack up the settings, I can faintly hear a change when I sweep the ribbon. The GATE OUT works as it should just fine. So I believe the ribbon, itself, is fine. Have any of you run into this issue before where an output stops sending a signal?
This is weird. I had the XL on all morning (ample warm-up time). I was sending signals straight from the Ribbon CV OUT and not getting any changes - it seemed to only be sending about +/-1v, if that… I tried different patch cables and different inputs to test the signal. I then tried going straight out from the Ribbon Attenuator while making adjustment to the AMOUNT and OFFSET. I finally started to get changes… I then plugged back into the Ribbon CV OUT and now it seems to be sending the full +/-5v.
