Where did THIS come from?! 
Is Moog re-making the Taurus? What’s going on? I’m confused…please help.

Flashback: I think maybe a year ago, Moog missed out on the winter Namm show. Then they went to the spring namm where they announced the Voyager Old School and the Mp201 and the Fabulous Moog guitar. Then this article popped up and quietly dissappeared that said that Moog had renewed the copyright for the Taurus name.
This could be the initial thread of speculation that will culminate in the announcement after NAMM.
Moog will surely whoop bottoms if they come out of NAMM this time with a new set of Bass pedals.

So…no one knows what’s going on but it’s been going on for a while. Amos hasn’t been on the forum, and has told me he’s “busy”. Now this thread appears, seemingly out of nowhere. Things are getting interesting…I think I’ll wait this out. 
THey are often prone to pranks too, they released only the side panel of the LP and let everyone try to guess what it was.
WHen the Freq came out they put an FM dial on there.
THey could very well put a polyphonic SYnth forum on there and then be like “whoops”
So they’re trying to fake me out? Hmmm…I’m going to go out on a limb here and play along with it. YAY! New Taurus Pedals! I’m so excited! When will they be released? How much will they cost? Will they be polyphonic? 
EDIT: Or will I turn this whole forum into an epic Chuck Norris meme?

Does that mean I’m serial #1, or do others have this?

I had only 1 request for the features of this…and that was for a pitch cv input.
Since it has that and Midi, you know we will be able to get duophony now…in a huge huge way. Sequence that puppy, and even use it to control the FOogers…what a wonderful thing. I wonder if they will make the expansion box for it that was offered but never made. (I think genesis had the only one)

Now all I have to do is put aside $100 a month til the end of the year and when it is released I’ll have enough.
My autoreply to the order also said TBP-V3-001 so I would doubt it indicates the serial number.
I wonder if they will really only make 1000 of these if there is enough demand.
I was thinking the same thing…everyone and his brother will want one of these things. I would love it as an extension to my Farfisa. Man, Moog’s power and the Farfisa’s chirping; what could possibly scream 1975 more? 
Ha, never mind… I bet they reserve the early numbers for the museum, Sting, Lee etc. anyway.

Back in 2001 Bob was visiting NYC Moogerfooger dealers and amongst other things asking around to determine interest as something to (re)develop after his still in development and at that point unnamed (ahem) Voyager.
For the doubters, I remind you that Moog took advance deposits on the first 600 Voyagers before they were released. Of course it didn’t hurt that they were showing prototypes at NAMM shows.
I keep coming back to try to place an order, but I think Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked the server into oblivion.
Either that or he placed an order and the server couldn’t handle that amount of awesomeness!
