I would just like to post a comment on the incredible work I’ve experienced these last few months with the Moog XL. I’ve spent the last few hours patching the velocity out through the attenuators into the filter and wave input mostly. Just whipping through the patches and tweaking. It’s simply amazing the level of tonal expression you can get this way and everything is just a knob tweak away. The ability to patch velocity and aftertouch through C.V. processing tone sculpting is wonderful thing to have at your fingertips. I wonder if many modulars take use of this feature. I’ve yet to plug the lag processor into the equation but it’s next on the tweaking fun list.
Has there ever been a analog keyboard with better workflow than this?
