Do you guys think there would be any interest in the aftermarket for custom wooden cases for the Little Phatty?

I don’t see why not. Synthwood does a good trade with other synthesizer wood upgrades.
I think a lot of it would come down to finding out what the market wants (i.e. what species of wood, which style(s), the thickness of the material, what kind of finish is applied, etc.)
I would love a custom wood chassis for my Phatty. Count me in 
I sure would!
Couldn’t afford to match my sides… 
it would be easy enough to lay the panel flat and re-use the keybed and left-hand control assembly. I bet the LP would look pretty neat in a traditional Rogue-style case.
I was thinking more like the Voyager.. adjustable…
I’m 100% in favor of wooden frames AND raised control panels.

The ability to raise and lower the panel would make transportation just that bit easier…
If appearance is the issue, wouldn’t it make more aesthetic sense to place the inputs and outputs on the back of the control panel, rather than have them jutting out from the side and ruining the wooden cheeks? Like a Voyager. The LP looks to me like it had a couple of bites taken out of it.
i’m all over this. adjustable control panel tilt, jacks on the top, dark mahogany. tell me where to send the money.
Hey Amos, do you think it would be possible to non destructively rehouse the LP, so you can put it back together later? I’m thinking you’re going to have to take a pick axe to the top panel…?
should be easy, i have taken mine appart, just unscreww the side.
OK fellas’ I’d like for you guys to give me a list of must have’s on the wooden cases. Tell me what you want to see on the prototype. As soon as I get the list I can start the prototype. BTW, I can get all kinds of woods. Figured maple, Koa, Cocabolo, you name it. I can even use bindings/purflings like on guitars if you want it. I can do any kind of paint job you can imagine. Flames maybe? Sparkle? Let me know.

Hey Cole thanks for tackling this. I was just about to have some new woods sides made. But I think I’ll hold tight until I see your designs. I was going to order ash and then have it painted like the electric blue Voyager. Please keep us all posted.
