Hi!
I Just ordered a little phatty, and while waiting for it I was thinking of giving it more suitable clothes with some custom made wooden sides. The tricky part seems to be the area around the input jacks; some have covered it properly while others just seems to leave it uncovered. Is there any downsides others than the cosmetical (protection, etc) to just leave it uncovered?
Any other tips and tricks?
Thanks!
I have a set of wood sides available for a Little Phatty 2, that were made by Stephen Jones. I’ll sell them for $50. (I paid $90.). Lighter finish. Caramel color.
Hey Benny.
Could you please post some pics of them?..
Did you see this?
Oh ok, thanks Namah.
Too bad, I like them very dark for the Phatty.
My jacks are uncovered, and I have no problems. If you decide to leave them uncovered, you may want to invest in a label maker to print your own labels. I ended up doing that after getting tired of cross referencing in the manual trying to figure out wich jack was the Filter CV. ![]()
