I hope so. I’m waiting for the promised ability to poly chain with the Sub 37. Maybe when work on the Sub 37 is complete the Sub P will get some love.
Yes there will be a Sub Phatty update. In fact, we’ve added some additional resources for firmware development, so that products don’t have to wait so long for updates… so, there’s someone working on it right now.

This is a great news; I have just got a Sub37 (amazing!), and I was thinking to sell the SubPhatty… now I will put it back on the rack! 
Such terrific news! I’ve no idea of what is possible really with a firmware update. But I’m going to make some dream requests anyhow! Mappable CV ala the Minitaur & midi syncable looping envelopes would be incredible. And probably far into the realm of not possible, but the mod buss out thing that the little phatty can do…
good news…shame we still have 2 wait so long for something promised yonks ago…should really be a priority at this stage…

Have no fear, Gertie. Now that the sub37 editor is out, I’m sure it will be only a matter of time before your sub phatty is a useable synth! I know my buddies Sub Phatty has been awesome, even without any updates!

this sub forum is full of posts about firmware issues - modern moogs are really dodgy when it comes to firmware updates/update instructions

Sub Phatty and Minitaur are both on deck for firmware / editor updates. Same crew who has been busy until this week with Sub 37 updates… can now give some love to these other instruments. I know this has strained the patience of many folks… but it will all come to pass.
