I find it strange I’ve had to wait so long. I know I was one of the very first orders from the UK (27 November 2008), because I discovered the web order page didn’t work for non-US addresses and I had to call Moog in the US to place my order – which was done immediately.
So why I’m so far down the list I don’t understand! Not that I’m too bothered – by now my pedals will have all the hardware update benefits from the troubleshooting the other owners have done for me! Hee hee!
Let me know how much shipping had to finally pay . I am not far from you, so if it was indeed $350 to ship to London I will ask Moog why mine was $497.
Just got the email, my pedals are shipping out today, delivery estimated for mid-week next week … around (glup!) April 1st! April Fool’s Day? Could it be? Has this all just been an elaborate joke to make me think Moog actually developed new Taurus III pedals, when in fact you’re all just friends of mine with fake screen names, and I’m going to open a box and saw dust is going to spill out?

Well there were various options of shipping you could choose when you ordered, perhaps you had the default highest shipping, or maybe the shipping options changed by the time I ordered.
Thanks Eric … I was also truly glad to see you had gotten your’s. You’ve been a great contributor in the Taurus forum (or as I like to call it, the “Taurus and FeatherUs 15-month Waiting Room”). Nice to think that now we’ll exchange postings in an actual User’s Forum!

I was absolutely NOT expecting the package to show up because I hadn’t gotten a confirmation email from Moog that it was done and it was being shipped. I had received an update email a few weeks back that I was getting close in the queue and that my information was being confirmed for final billing / shipping. I thought OK, it’s going to be soon. Not THAT soon. After all this time, I guess patience IS a virtue. Spoken like a truly pretentious putz who finally got his pedals.
