I think whitewash would look good on my Taurus 2, My Korg R3, my Prophet 98, my Ms20, and possibly my Microwave XT? Maybe not, it would look like a Creamsicle.
My guess is Red Oak. I have a Whitewash Old School and the grain and somewhat pinkish hugh (in spots) makes me think that. I bought a Walkingstick and had Joe stain it whitewash, matches spot on, he offered to share with me the ‘formula’. I’ll bug him again via email and let you know how it’s done. (will have a pic shortly but they are always somewhat light dependent and the only time I get for anything here in the Northeast U.S. is after 10pm (dark!)
