This was probably discussed before, but…
Seriously, who wouldn’t want Bob Moog’s face to pop up everytime you turn on the Voyager? 
Considering the long path from the original modulars, to the realization that musicians would be the primary purchasers of synthesizers in the form of the Mini, to his design of the Minimoog Voyager, and then the advent of the Little Phatty, Bob’s face ought to be seen!
I would consider the Voyager to be Bob’s “Opus Magnum.” Seeing Bob’s face when I fire up the Voyager is a reminder of that, as well as a fitting tribute to the vision he had for electronic music synthesis!
I don’t care, I don’t pay attention to the startup screens. Too many to care about when powering up the rig.
I prefer the picture of Bob Moog. It is somewhat a pity you have to select the old style again after each Voyager update.
What would a Moog Voyager be without Bob Moog? Nothing at all.
Why…i there a Voyager update every week i don’t know of…? 
I don’t have to reselect it each week. But more often then the typical Voyager user here.
