where to put a TR-909?

Can and should I modulate a TR-909 with a mini moog?
It has the instrument input, Also I have a CV pedal (From ensoniq)

Wondered how to build a small live rig:

TR909 has no cv inputs and no control of sound parameters over MIDI so not much modulation happening. You have to do it by hand using the knobs.
You can filter and distort it using the input on the MiniMoog.
