I’ve seen a couple of posts by new Voyager users who asked if there were any books that would help them out with analog synthesis. Someone strongly suggested an out-of-print book that I can’t remember the name of and now the thread is lost in the forum void.
Can whoever knows the book I’m describing please give me the name so I can get a copy?
I second the recommendation from TuneLow on the Jim Aiken book “Power Tools for Synthesizer Programmers”. It was published last year and is very up-to-date. It contains everything a novice needs to know. Also included is a CD of audio examples.
Soft cover, $24.95 at Borders. Probably less at Amazon.
Both of these are compiled articles from Keyboard magazine and the contributions are penned by Dr. Moog, Roger Powell, George Duke, Jim Aikin, Tom Coster, Tom Darter.
