I’ll drink a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label, then spend the rest of the five hundred bucks on a 101. And maybe a bottle of Jim Beam. I do like my Beam.
I’ll just keep using my Roland PK-5 pedals through my Roland JP-8000, and I would use my returned deposit to purchase a Dave Smith Mopho to replace the JP-8000. The JP does an o.k. job, but it takes up too much space in my car and on stage. I think the Mopho would give me about 80% of the Taurus vibe & tone at a fraction of the cost, and it has a nice small footprint as well (that missing 20% of the Taurus vibe & tone is a BIG deal to me, however, and the reason I placed my deposit). The Little Phatty would be my first choice as far as tone & programability, but it is more important (to me) to maintain the smallest Taurus footprint possible while still keeping real analog sounds and foot-control of all functions (I use a volume pedal in conjunction with the buttons on the PK-5, which are used for octave and patch selection). As for the scotch, I’ll take the Macallan 12-year old. No worries though, the T-3 WILL come to be.
Hell, after getting a little more familiar with my Hammond pedals, and the T3 announcement getting me thinking about having a set of footpedals I can easily take out and gig, I’m wondering what to do until the T3 is released. Roland PK-5 into my Korg Karma w/MOSS, I guess…
