what mooger to buy next

Hi Everyone

At the moment i have the Mooger Ringmod and Phaser, but need a little help with what to get next in the way of mooger units to go with my LP MK2.

Paul

CP-251. Definitely need one of those. Already have one? The 101 should come after the 251.

Definitely a CP-251.

MF-101 would give you another filter (cool, but not that cool to have), but also an envelope follower, which is useful.

MF-104 would give you a wonderful analog delay, plus you can use the other effects in the loop for interesting delayed sounds. I love ring modulation in the loop, for example.

The MuRFs would give you some new swirly effects. If you dig your phaser a lot, then this might be a good way to go.

FreqBox would add another oscillator and an envelope follower. I still haven’t gotten to spend time with one of these, so I’m not sure what all it would add to your LP.

CP-251 would give you another LFO source (square, triangle, S&H), the mixing of LFOs, multiplying LFOs, a noise source, the lag processor.

MP201 would give you more control over your pedals and the LP. Presets, tap tempo, etc. MIDI control, too.

For me, I’d go with the MP-201 or the analog delay, but those are pricey additions. The CP-251 is very cool, but requires some patching to repeat sounds.

As i thought , the CP-251.
Okay thats probably what ill get next, and then the Freq Box..

One other thing is there much use in having 2 CP-251’s

i aim the get 3 pedals and thought of buying 2 cp-251’s at some point then i can rack them all up in a nice wooden unit…

I already have some cool digital effects boxes ( Kurzweil KSP-8 with RSP-8 remote and a TC Electronic M3000 Reverb ) as well as an old Melos Echo unit…
