What moog box to buy send cv from Voyager to sh-101?

Hi,

What moog box to buy send cv to sh-101?
Can I then use sh-101 keyboard to play my RME?

The RME specs on the moog homepage say:

OUTPUTS
This is a standard female DB-25 connector that allows access to the control voltage and gate output signals from the Voyager. A VX-351 CV Expander can be connected to this port to output these signals on its 1/4" jacks. Control signals that are routed to this port are:

  • KEYBOARD GATE
  • KEYBOARD CV
  • KEYBOARD PRESSURE CV
  • KEYBOARD VELOCITY CV
    …

I always thought the vx351 is for the performer edition only, but it seems you can use it with your rme also. Very strange, i think someone told me that the performer edition does not route midi signals to the vx351. If it’s the same with the rme, connecting a vx351 would be complete nonsense…

If you want to use the sh-101 keyboard to play your rme, you have to connect gate cv out from the sh101 with the gate input of the rme and pitch cv out from the sh101 with the VX352 CV Input Expander’s Osc Pitch in.
The VX352 should also be connected to your rme, of course :wink:
