Prolly just a mock up. Would be interesting though Id hate to see how they squeeze in all of the Ins and outs for voltages/audio.
Eric
It would make a lot more sense in a CP-251 style box, with jacks on the front face. If it isn’t intended to process another audio signal, there’s no need to put it in the guitar stomp-box format.
cute, but we already have the 107, there were mockups (including one i made) for that way before even the 107 came out. We definitely don’t need an osc bank in stomp pedal format.
cp-251-enclosures all the way, being able to rack this stuff efficiently (ie w/o taking up friggin 7 spaces) is the only way it’d be marketable to the majority of the people who would buy it.
So, the question is…did Bob really have an idea for such an animal, or is someone trying to get leverage for this thing to be built? I, for one, wouldn’t want something like this. Maybe in a CP format. ![]()
this has got to be just somebody’s mock-up, several of the features on it seem strange, like the stomp switch in the middle for sync, and i don’t even know if the octave stomp switches make sense either. Regardless, we already have an oscillator model that tracks very well, I don’t see any reason why they’d make another unless it was one set up in a CP enclosure.
It is most definitely someone’s mock up, it says so at the top of the page in broken english.
A few days ago, as the storm raged outside, I finally decided to put me at work … Weeks that I thought at that module ! Oh, nothing extraordinary, just an idea that Robert had been a long time ago. So why the new engineers of the mother house did not they think ? Is that me, a little frenchy, I have the gall to re-invent " the moog ?
Sorry, my broken English isn’t too good. He makes it sound like Bob Moog himself had this idea, and the new Moog engineers rejected it. ![]()
lolol
I sat a lengthy siesta on my porcellan stool that is a thinking mans’ chair. I tirelessly worked and worked until I managed to invent, on the most dreary of days, a token of pure genius that not even the greatest academic could conceive. For a fortnight I toiled and my efforts were not in vain for I had ousted a product of indescribable pleasure. Could I in my ever so humble manner have reinvented the number 2?

EricK, that was SO uncalled for. ![]()
i need a high pass filter more than anything else
I never did care for the sound of a high pass filter. I never use the hi settings on the Voyager.
A multi mode filter pedal would be awesome. Even if it’s only 12db so as not to render the MF-101 obsolete.
I could see that coexisting with the 107. It doesn’t look like it has the hard sync of freqbox so you could get smoother sounds and also has ability to go lower than your original note so you have a sub osc. I think it would be cool but definately not necessary. There are quite a few octaver pedals out there already.
While were on this, does anyone own more than one freqbox? Id like to hear the results of running a freq into a freq in various sitituations.
