What is in the LP's (Stage) future??

I let go of my Stage I, and am seriously considering a Stage II. BUT.

What is in the works for the LP? It seems to be a smash hit with Moog, and I suspect there will be more modifications and models to come. Has anyone heard through the grapevine a new model or Operating System to come in the next few months?

I’m trying to be as wary with my meager salary as possible :unamused:

Peas

I don’t anybody knows and it won’t be for a while anyways since the stage II just came out.

Not that I am any more “in the know” about the LPs future.. But based on the Voyager’s history of upgrades and modifications I am sure the LP will develop into bigger and better things…

Cyril + Steve D + Amos + ALL OF US = GENIUS !!!

You see, Moog listens to us..

So, what would you like to see the LP do?

As for a whole new model of LP (Stage 3 or better yet Tribute Edition 2, with that crazy lit up CV mod I spoke of in the “LP back Panel” post), don’t think it will happen or necessarily needs to happen..

I think that most of us want a MemoryMoog Supreme ! (Supreme means it comes with sour cream)

D.S.I, SHMEE S.I. … lol

Runn for the vineyards Dave !!!

Yes! A MemoryMoog Supreme with CV controlled LED wheels and a choice of back panel colors!

with voyager selects at $3200 and he moog guitar at $6500, i’d be afraid to guess the retail price tag of a 6 voice moog poly. i’m just glad my prophet 08 complements all of my moogs so well!

What Moogs would that be?

i’ve got 3 mini’s. one real early RA, one that’s sort of in the middle. i think the serial# is 5000’s. and a late one. serial #12,000’s. memorymoog, micro,
LP TE, Voyager SE, Taurus 1, etherwave theremin SE and midimini…
got pics of some of them here:

of course, this collection varies from time to time…

First of all, to Mitchell, and anyone else complaining of the price of the Moog Guitar, has anyone been to www.alembic.com? If not, go there. Those are just GUITARS! No special sustain or anything! Base price? How’s $4500 sound? The price list, as I recall, goes up to $10,000, give or take. Now that that’s out of my system, I think a Little Phatty RME with polyphony is in order. Also, as stated in the Back Panel post, a Little Phatty Select Series.

Voltor07, you totally missed my point. if moog ever does build a new poly synth i feel certain it will be expensive and i’m also sure it will be worth every penny. compared to their other instruments, i was just trying to figure out how it would be priced. i would never complain about the price though… i’m just glad moog’s building great instruments again.

Expensive, yes. As long as it was less than $10,000, it would be within my price range, and of course, worth every penny. And no, $9,999.95 is NOT an acceptable price.

im sure they could do a 3 voice poly expander for 500 bucks…all the monos send poly midi and complete analog control cc’s

TE#585

That would be cool…I’d say a thousand bucks would even be reasonable…for Moog. My Farfisa has three voice poly…I think it’s dying though. But three voice poly would be a great improvement.
