I wish I could filter controllers sent from the Voyager. I believe this was in 3.6 beta. What happened to this version? My one and only Midi Solutions Event Processor is busy in another task so I don’t really want to buy another one.

Thanks Greg and Rudi!
Wow! Just updated my Voyager EB to 3.6 beta and its exactly what I needed. Now the Voyager doesn’t make everything else upset when you turn the knobs. I am so happy. ![]()
Also glad to get rid of the patches changing when you turn the audio input knob. I never liked that feature.
Surprised its copyright 2016 and dated 6th Jan 2016 though…
A big THANK YOU to Rudi
Apologies if the topic of OS 3.6 has been covered in detail…I did a search both in this forum and the wider web for what features were added or changes between 3.5 and 3.6 but was unable to find an answer the question. Could somebody kindly direct me to that info? Many thanks!
I don’t think there is documentation for this update, it appears to be a secret ![]()
The reason I needed this update is that you can disable receiving or transmitting MIDI CC for any knob of switch. I set them to all not send CC’s then turned on notes, pitch bend, mod whl, pressure, sysex. This makes sense if the voyager is going into a DAW because other devices won’t want the controllers routed out to them. I believe every synth’s knobs should control itself locally but not send to others synths.

Today, I noticed OS 3.6 beta file is updating day by day.
So my Voyager’s release date is May 30th, 2016 !!!
It’s amazing!

Soooooo, got a question about O/S versioning. I have a VXL that i received last June with 3.6 O/S. Is this “BETA” something different, if so, curious why it would not be “3.7 Beta”
When we look on KnobTweak we notice 3.6 from Oct2015 and then this “BETA” with Jun 1 2016 on it. So is this something we would add to the original 3.6?
Thanks for any and all FEEDBACK!!!
More importantly, why is the 3.6 OS a secret?
Greetings, brand new to the forum. I just took possession of a VXL and Foogers septuplets. This was the first thread I read so naturally I checked my OS.
System Version: 3.6
Release: 12/06/10
Boot Version" 3.6
See attached.
Of course the release date is what grabbed my attention in light to the dates mentioned in this thread.
Any thoughts?

Just bumping this one more time. Are the 3.6 A,B,C,D bank beta syx files something that we “might” want to add to the current 3.6 operating system for the XL or is this something that already came with the XL?
Thanks for any and all FEEDBACK!!!
My voyager 3.6 date is January 2016 and it doesn’t say beta but I got it from the links all described as beta.

Hi LivePsy,
the newest version is 30th May 2016.
Have fun,
Rudi
ahhhhhhh, so changes can be made to an O/S but the versioning doesn’t change, just the release date, coooooooool. thanks!!!
Whoa, whoa, wait…wut? I’ve been on the 12/06/2010 3.6 for the last couple years for my XL. I just saw this and DL’d the version posted and, while still 3.6, the create date of the 3.6 syx files are, indeed, 05/30/2016. The actual downloaded .zip still shows it being 3.6_beta. I’m happy to keep my voyager up-to-date, but are there actual differences/bug fixes, etc? Is this update more like a 3.7? I’m really not wanting to take unnecessary chances with my baby.
edit if this is an actual update, then do any of you have the update instructions?
Ok, so is there any difference in the OS in Version 3.6 for the Voyager XL and Version 3.6 for the Voyager. As I am new to Voyagers, and I have an XL, I am not up to speed on the various idiosyncrasies if any exist. Guidance is certainly appreciated.
Where does one find the May, 2016 3.6 Voyager OS. If its on the Moog website it is well hidden, or I am seriously browser challenged.
So you are in fact still working on it. Great! Thanks Rudi
