I’m a new Lil’ Phatty user and I’m wondering what others are using as effects units with their Little Phattys? I’ve got the Freq Box and the CP-251. I’m more interested in delay and reverb type of effects.
Thanks, I searched for “effect” earlier and didn’t find this. I have tried my Line 6 POD. I’ll have to try my Line 6 Vetta. I wonder if anyone feels the Lexicon units offer superior sounding delay effects?
lexicon,tc electronic,whatev, they pretty much sound the same in the digital world… the more expensive units have more complex features and better algorithms but really the difference is negligable imo, especially at the pro-sumer and consumer levels.
I’ve found that the TC Electronic Nova Delay is nice with the LP. It’s got just enough features to be part of the sound-sculpting process, but it’s also quite simple and direct to use. And the range of sounds it does from clinical to warm all sit well with the basic LP character.
I use the old Yamaha spx-90 multi fx unit-
12 bit reverb and delay sounds very warm
I have tried all my pedals that I use with my guitars, with my LP. Ive found the Boss giga-delay, MXR-90, and sometimes my EH MUFF add a little that the LP is sometimes is missing. I know its digital, but the giga-delay is wonderful for the $$.
