as many of you will have heard, moog music announced werkstatt’s worldwide release yesterday.

when i first read about it, i was really excited. finally this great little synth kit would be coming to europe.
then i read about the mrsp: it’s 399 euros. that’s more than 500 usd!
it’s just insane.

thoman, one of europe’s biggest - and cheapest - retailers, will be offering the kit for 349 eur (440 usd).
i doubt that they will sell many at that price.

It’s the cost of doing business. I highly doubt that Moog is trying to gut their customers, rather just responding to overwhelming demand.
