If you can see this message, you are part of a special group of Moog users – the few, the proud, the beta testers.
Thank you very much for your participation!
The purpose of this forum is for beta testers to compare notes, help one another, and report any issues or difficulties you may encounter, so that together we can make new Moog products the best they can be.
Having these discussions within a private section of the forum will reduce the amount of noise and confusion for non-testers in the main forum.
For now (December 2015), the main focus of beta testing is on the Sub 37 editor and firmware, which is planned for official release in late January 2016. After that, there are plans afoot to update the editors and firmware for Minitaur and Sub Phatty as well, although the exact schedule for these later updates is still to be determined.
Thanks once again for joining us here, and please make yourself at home.
Either place is OK for new feature suggestions… although you might get more feedback on such suggestions in the main forum.
On the flip side, I might be less likely to see suggestions in the main forum as I can’t always keep up with it but if it’s really important you can email me directly as well.
Just as a point of overall information the v2.23.0.0 USB driver is working for the Sub 37, but I can no longer talk to the Minitaur via USB. The same driver loaded for the Minitaur returns a “This device cannot start. (Code 10)”
This is true and it’s because the Minitaur also needs a firmware update in order to work with the new USB driver.
This firmware update for Minitaur is already in progress… we (meaning you) can start testing it in the very near future.
