I would very much like it if the Voyager had a software update that allowed you to turn off all digital functions as well as the Lcd. Anyone else concur? IT shouldn’t be too difficult.

Maybe you could just remove the ribbon cable between the digital board and the
display. The cable should have connectors, so you will not need scissors…
just temporarily. Sorry, the question wasn’t thought out very well. But a bypass would be nice for when you want to initialize the synth without having to deal with software. Not that its that bad, but something about the digital display doesn’t feel right sometimes.
??? The hardware cannot function without the software on the Voyager.
