vst subphatty editor with live 9.1.x

Hello, I bought a moog subphatty and I have a problem with the VST plugin subphatty editor.
Everything works fine except VST plugin that is not recognized with Ableton Live 9.1.x. The file is placed in the correct vst folder , but live does not recognize it. I tried everything, look on different forums and I can not find any solutions.
The VST is recognized with an older version (but does not work with my current firmware) and the version you sent me when i registred my products is not recognized.
This is the same problem on macos X and Windows 8.1 with ableton live 9.1.x 32 bits !
Would you have a tip or a patch to fix my problem?

Our engineers are aware of this issue, which appeared with a small number of OS versions of Mac and Windows. They are working on a patch to correct this problem. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

I also forget to said that in ableton live we can get The Sub Phatty USB In but not the Sub Phatty USB Out, so it cannot be control via usb :frowning:

Some great news here.

I updated the Subphatty firmware to 2.0.6. Using Editor 1.1.0 , I did not update the drivers as I read someone was having some issues.

I can now load the editor as a vst (efx) in an audio channel. Cubase doesn’t see the instrument only the subphatty editor as an efx but that doesn’t matter. Everything works: Read and Write in the plug-in from the virtual knobs on editor YES! Read and Write from the hardware YES! Read and Write from both virtual panel and hardware panel at same time: Yes!

Connection is reliable. Loading and unloading the editor numerous times behaves properly and Cubase remains stable ; no crashes after 2 hours of playing and testing YES!

I haven’t tested this with a full load of plug-ins on a complex project but the setup is stable.



Editor set to send and received to the subphatty usb ports which are disabled in the Cubase devices as required.
DAW sends midi data information out to MIDI DIN AND the midi hardware din connection from Moog is disabled in the devices to avoid any loopback.

Working great and I am very pleased.

Are you sure you got Sub Phatty firmware version 2.0.6? If so, where did you get that? As far as I know 2.0.3 is the latest released version.

The vst is finally recognized on ableton live 9.1.6.

Works fine with new firmware 2.0.6.

This (hidden) update solved the problem for me. The version I received after registering my Sub was not detected by Live 9 on win 8.1.
