VST Editor Can't Talk to SP?

Dear All,

Just got my SP this afternoon. Great sound. Amazing tweaking fun.

The only pity is that I still can’t setup the VST Editor.


First I wrapped the VST plug-in to RTAS to use it in Pro Tools 9 (Mac OS 10.6.6). No luck. I couldn’t do anything to the VST GUI: couldn’t turn a knob; couldn’t press a button; couldn’t change it at all.

Then I launched the VST plug-in in Reaper (32bit version). I could make changes to the GUI now, but it seemed that there was no connection between the VST and the SP hardware at all.


I’m not sure what I did wrong. One thing though, when I checked out the Audio/MIDI Devices, I don’t see anything related to the SP. I did see it under the USB tree in “About This Mac”, and was also able to update the firmware to 3.1 via USB.
