My XL’s sawtooth (i.e. OSC1) produces a Ramp-Up signale if set to Sawtooth.
All the Info about the original Minimoog says it was ramp-down.
Do all voyagers ramp-up on sawtooth ?

My Voyager Old-School produces a ramp-up saw wave too. I think this must be across the board on all Voyagers. I’m not sure if this is accurate, but I have heard that the differences between ramp-up and ramp-down are not audibly noticeable.
FWIW, my Minimoog D is also generating ramp up waveform on osc 1 and 2, but osc 3 also offers a ramp down as well as a ramp up. And if you switch rapidely between the two, you can hear a faint difference. But only on a quick, side-by-side comparison. Otherwise, it’s almost impossible to tell them apart. Unless they’re both played together at the exact same frequency and amplitude, in such case they would cancel each other out.
love me a good sawtooth!
There should be no audible difference between the two waveshapes. If there is an audible difference, it is just due to imperfect waveshaping. The harmonic content and the phase relations of the harmonics is identically. It is just starting with the opposite direction. The difference is only important, when you use it as modulation source.
