Why is it so much easier to find Little Phatty patches than ones for the Voyager? I realize that due to the price difference, there is probably a much larger community of LP users than Voyager owners. Even still, it seems like there’s next to nothing out there (at least that I’ve been able to find) besides the few on KnobTweak and on the Moog Voyager software page.

I’ve got dozens of Vger patches, but doubt that anyone else would want them. They are written for my projects and aren’t the sort of things that the public would generally want.
But probably the biggest reason would be it is such an easy machine to program that most people don’t need someone else to do it for them.
I can understand buying/DLing patches for digital synths that are hard to program. The V’ger is pretty easy to get what you want out of it.

I figured this was part of people’s reasoning, but I don’t really agree with it. I agree that the Voyager is fairly easy to program, but that has nothing to do with new patches in my opinion. I like trying other patches because it introduces me to sounds that I wouldn’t instinctually think to program myself. Tweaking other people’s patches gets me out of creative ruts and keeps me from using the same types of sounds all the time.
Maybe it’s different depending on the types of music people play. As an experimental artist, it certainly opens up my imagination to hear other people’s sounds.
FYI: I found 75 Voyager patches on KnobTweak - they’re in the folder called “Voyager Patches - Users”.
But I agree with you - given that there’s probably thousands of Voyager owners out there, there should be more Voyager patches available online.
Guess people aren’t in a sharing mood… 
Tonight, when I get into the studio I’ll suck Alien engine and a few others out of my V’ger and post them to KT. They really use the flexability of mod routings that aren’t readily apparent.
EDIT: Maybe Friday. After today, I’m doing nothing in the Studio.
