"Voyager Training DVD"

As I mentioned in another thread, I recently ordered a Moog Voyager that is expected to arrive sometime within the next couple of weeks. I’ve been devouring anything and everything about them (on line at least) in anticipation as I’ve wanted one of these—well, actually a Minimoog—since the mid-70’s. I’ve also combed these forums going all the way back to 2003 to find out as much as I can or about any issues or problems that may crop up.

One of the things I’m seriously considering is buying the “Voyager Training DVD” but, finding that there are several videos up on YouTube from the DVD, I was wondering if there’s more to it than just those clips? I couldn’t find a running time anywhere on Moog’s page (and the segments on the VX-351 and RME really don’t interest me) so I don’t know whether the extra expense is really worth it. Does anyone own the DVD and if so, what are your thoughts?

I own the DVD. I believe that everything on the DVD can be found on youtube. Brian goes through each section describing how they function. It’s a good resource for beginners to understand what the knobs do.

Id say they need to update their Sonic Infinity series to encompass the Murf and Flux and slim phatty chains and the Taurus.
