You have a Voyager, will you consider an RME as well?
Ok, I immediately sprung wood when I saw it. I’m curious, how many of you out there that already own a Voyager are considering adding this? I wonder… will there be a link mode of some sort so one can create patches utilising both a Voyager + one or more RMEs? 6 oscillators. . . 4 filters! GAAHHHHH
Please lord take away the desire, please please please. . . I want one.

I would love a Voyager RME to hook up to my Voyager keyboard… It will be a while but I’m sure I can make it happen eventually.
You can absolutely chain the units together to create polyphonic patches or play duophonically; I got to hear it this week and it sounds amazing! That many oscillators add up to some serious sonic weight. I have been working on some pad-like sounds already with multi-Voyagers in mind. Very exciting possibilities!

Nice ‘Memory Modular’ idea there btw. Winnipeg is it? Good to see at least two Voyagers will sell North of the border. I bought one of only two that I’ve seen in all the musics stores in Calgary… music stores here are LAME. We get none of the good gear to try.

OK, I have 2 Voyager SE (plus extras, like CV etc) but would love to have 2 RME as well.
never, way to expensive for a 2 voice synth. so much can be done with the ~$5,000 it takes.
Sobering comment to be sure. Realistically though, nobody in their right mind would consider getting into a Voyager(s) for the polyphony. The duophony is a side perk, but what I’m really after is simply a 6 oscillator stacked mono-lead :O) Think of it like investing in a modular system. High price tag monophonic, but your paying for the flexibility and sound, only with this configuration, its relatively portable and gives you memories. I love memories! Thanks… for the memories . . . .

The Studio Electronics SE-1x seems like a better bargain at $1500. I haven’t done a head-to-head between that and the MMV, but it’s features seem close, with each having their own advantages. If I were looking for a second monophonic moog-like synth, it’s an attractive option. Of course I’d much rather have an Omega-8, but $4500 is too steep of a price for me.
I compared my Moog Source to the SE-1X and the Source beat it for balls and beef, no contest. The SE-1X is a good sounding synth, but it is no Moog and no Voyager.
Voyager RME has dual filters, flexible filter configurations (6/12/18/24 dB/oct slopes and bandpass with HP), continuous waveshaping, better interface (mixer is buried in menu on SE-1X), better envelopes, and tons more I/O points.
