Voyager RME oscillator 1 is out of tune

Hey,

Oscillator one drift about a semitone against the other oscillators when playing up about two octaves.
I really hope this is an easy fix!!
I was a bit suspicious this had something to to with the 3-1 fm feature, anyone else experience anything similar?

Im running 3.5 software

Its a Voyager RME

Please help

So, should I sell this RME and buy another one and hope it is in tune?

Sounds like it just needs calibrated. No need to buy a new machine.
Why do you suspect it’s something to do with the FM feature ?

Hey,

One more thing: It is actually sometimes in tune, but 60% of the time the keyboard scaling on oscillator one is waaay of, so it sounds like crap.
One octave is closer to 13 semitones - and so completely useless! Any synthedit freebie sounds 1000 times better.
I need to be able to trust my gear to work when I am having a recording session.

For the time beeing my voyager is left unnused, and Im thinking about buying either another one used that the seller can tell the voyager has been working for years
and not out of tune, or buying another synth.

If I calibrate, will it then be in tune for 60% of time or the 40% or how does this work?!
I mean, its not consistent, and

Moog does not reply to my mails !

I think it makes no sense to tune it - I guess it’s broken.

Are you serious? Then what should I do with it? Sell it?

Question: If the Voyager is in tune (osc 1 scaling) 50% of the time, and I tune it, will it then be in tune 95% - 100% of the time?

If scaling is not calibrated, it sounds wrong but the scaling should not change over the time (after warmup).
I think it’s broken. Maybe Moog can fix it
