Hi everybody,
I’m an owner of a RME with the VX-352. Today there happened a strange pitch or transpose problem… I already searched this forum and google but couldn’t find anything related…
There are several ways I play my RME. I use my Nord Lead and also a PC to play the RME directly via Midi. Additionally I use my Roland SH-101 to play the RME via the VX-352 CV-inputs. So all in all the RME gets ‘notes and gates’ from Nord Lead, PC and 101 (not all at the same time hehe).
Today there occurred a strange problem: With my SH-101, the VX-352 and the Ext/Env-button turned on everything behaved normal. But when I switch the Ext/Env-button to keyboard mode and use my Nord Lead then the moog only plays sounds when I play on the highest octave on the Nord Lead. When I press lower tones on the Nord Lead, there is no sound from the moog but the Midi LED flashes on every note. And when I play Midi notes from my PC then the LED is flashing but no sound at all…
I’ve searched in RME’s options if there is sth like keyzone-transpose or stuff like this… When I use the transpose function from RME, then the notes are transposed correctly but still can be played only on the highest octave on the Nord Lead and still from PC no sound at all…
I also already switched all stuff on and of with the same result. Is there any way to reset this behavior? Before it was possible to play the whole Nord Lead keyboard range and also PC-Midi worked. So if anybody could help I would be really thankful ![]()
