So how do you guys use your moogerfoogers with your voyager rme? Ive been using them with the phatty, but on the back of the rme i cant think how i can connect them into it…I have 1/4 inch jacks into the Left (mono) AND right audio ports in the back of the RME, should i just be using the Left one since the thing is Monophonic?
With the phatty it was simple, i used to just run 1/4 jack into the pitch cv, or filter cv whatever…i also used to mess about with having my foogers in a chain, like runnin the audio out of the phatty, through the freq box, out the freq box into the ring mod etc etc and then into my audio interface.
I have the cp251, ring mod, phaser, delay and freq box
Any help on this, or tips as to what some of you guys do would be awesome
I think you need the Vx-352 with the control inputs for the RME, then the VX351 for the control outputs. Unless there are jacks on there that I don’t know about (cause I haven’t looked) then you have to add that to your already nice collection of foogers!
Thanks for replying..i have a couple of small things i was wondering..
So can both of these actually connect into the back if the Voyager? Also whats the difference between the two (vx 351, vx 352) I thought it was just the 532 was for the RME..
The VX-351 is a CV Output Expander, the VX-352 is a CV Input Expander.
The VX-351 works with all Voyagers (including the RME). It’s a ‘break-out’ box that provides CV Outputs on 1/4" TS jacks, allowing you to interface with 'Foogers and other CV gear.
The VX-352 works with the RME only, providing CV Inputs on 1/4" TS jacks. (Voyager Keyboard Editions already have these connections on the back panel).
I have the RME, a 351, a 352, 2 cps and all the foogers. The CV boxes are key to integrating the RME and your foogers.
If you are interested, I am selling a brand new, unused VX-352 in its original box and in mint condition. Its 100% guaranteed and i’ll ship it to your door for free.
Since you are a fellow moogerforumer, maybe we can work out a special deal:
