voyager prototype

trying to find some pictures of the prototype

these are the only ones i could find
any one have any bigger ones, i just want to see that selector under the VCA ENV has more positions than the one they ended up using, strange how it has ADS like the model d.

I wonder what happened to the prototype one? Moog still have it? Scrapped for parts? Perhaps it wasn’t functional even?

It seems that the front panel arrangement changed a lot with the addition of the screen and the touchpad.

Can the LFO actually do 4 waveforms? There’s the tri/saw/sineish one, and the square/pulse one and the S+H, but where’s the 4th?

Doesn’t really matter too much, since you can repatch stuff on the back, but whatever.

My understanding is it was just a mock up to show where they were headed and to get peoples opinion, it did not haved electronics inside. Shortly after it was shown at NAMM Moog asked for people to email in and say what the liked and disliked. I remember several of us wanted the wheel to the left of the keyboard with the release and glide switches like the Model D. If I remember correctly it did not have memory which is something else many requested. From there things like the touch pad where added.

i really like the layout of the prototype, just how each section gets its own bubble rather than just a dividing line.

Its on display at the Moog factory. No guts inside it though.

This is what I was hoping the Little Phatty was going to be. A Voyager minus the micro-processing digital component. Or something like this:
