Voyager presets SysEx file

I’ve just used MIDI-OX to backup the presets in my new Voyager AE. Out of curiousity, I compared the data from my AE to the AE presets file available on the website, using the MIDI-OX ‘compare windows’ function. It reported 4 mismatch errors. I looked at the files and the 6th-9th bytes are different. Here’s the data:

My AE presets: F0 04 01 00 01 1F 1C 05 1F 10
Website presets: F0 04 01 00 01 24 64 4A 1E 10

Does anybody know what these bytes represent, and why they should be different between my AE and the patches on the website?

Simon

In an old (circa OS v2.3) SysEx format doc that I have these bytes relate to Pot Mapping.

Thanks Kevin. I’m in Bedfordshire too… small world!

I’m in Shefford - with Sig. Ed. #82.

Let me know if you want the whole document.

I’m in Flitwick - with AE #657.

Thanks for the offer of the document, but I think that I’ll give it a miss. My days of wanting to delve into the guts of MIDI and SysEx are well past! I was just curious why these bytes were different, and what they represented. Thanks for helping out.

Simon
