Voyager Pot Mapping & MIDI

I have an Electric Blue Minimoog Voyager.

I am trying to sequence the factory patch B:125 Velocity SquareDrumz with my Octatrack, but it doesn’t respond to the velocity parameters being sent.

I looked at the patch, and it’s using Pot Mapping to modulate several parameters with the velocity.

Am I to understand that the Pot Mapping velocity routings cannot be triggered by velocity over MIDI?

If the pot mapping amount is set to something other than zero then velocity should be having an effect.
