Wanted to share with the folks here:
I made two short clips and a video -
The Voyager is going into the Vermona Perfourmer.
The Perfourmer acts as a filterbank and is being sequenced by Numerology.
Tracked to 1/4 inch with the Studer.
After listening to the tracks I saw the “I’ve forgotten how to sing!” link.
How sad, How true, how funny. That I enjoyed.
The two sequenced tracks I liked sequenced 1 better. The rhythms seemed to work better (to me). How many tracks were there in those tracks?
If I can figure out how to get the sounds loaded into a computer, I’ll try and throw up a few of my own. I’m always inspired to some extent listening to others. (Aren’t we all?)
Where are you getting tape for your Studer? I’m looking for some reels for my 1/4" half tracks.

each of the 2 sequences had about 5 tracks spread evenly left + right.
i deliberately didn’t wanna plan too much or limit myself, i do that enough on a daily basis, ha! just wanna have fun with this blog stuff.

if you’re gonna buy some, try to find newer stock, as one bad batch had some bad shedding. otherwise it’s mostly fine.
