Voyager improvements.RUDI L?MOOG?

Ive been giggin my voyager solid for a while and have the following suggestions to
Rudi and the Moog team for some feature requests. Not sure if they will be possible or not (forgive me if the voyager is already capable of these functions)

1.a way of connecting a pedal to shift patches up and down. If all hands are on deck and i need to change a patch within a couple o seconds i cant currently do it on the voyager as if im using both hands theres no way i can get to the +1 button.

  1. Again, the octave switching in the 3.0 software is a compromise. I really think moog should change the hardware and add octave switches above the mod and pitch wheels like the source and memorymoog. Its awkward if playing something low on the keyboard with the right hand; this means you have to cross your left hand over your right to change the settings(as they are in the middle of the control panel, not the left).

  2. would like the software to be changed so that when a change has been made the display switches back automatically to the main patch name screen when the change has been made after 2 seconds or so. This is so i dont have to press panel in order to get back to the main menu to change to the next sound!!Sheesh!!

4.Would be great if when you change patch it doesnt cut off the previous patch. Its crap when you have a sound with long release and you need to change patch and its release portion just suddenly stops dead. Not great for a performance instrument of this calibre.

Thanks for listening.

I would like to be able to modulate individual Osc’s waveforms via the mod busses’ destination menu. They can be routed via potmapping, so I would think it would be possible to do so in the mod busses.

I’d like to ditto MarkM’s suggestion. However, I suspect it’s not possible. The mod busses are internal analogue routings whereas the pot mappings are digital. In effect pot mapping allows you to take control of one knob by means of another rather than taking control of the parameter itself.

Surely it must be possible to get a midi pedal that can send patch changes messages?

Panel>Parameter Display>3 secs. Seems a bit longer than 3 secs, though.

Impossible with a monophonic analogue synth, I’m afraid. There’s only one voice and when you change patches, you change (potentially) all the parameters of that one voice…

You can access the individual wave forms via the touch screen. Would that make it possible to modulate them from the busses via software?
