Voyager External In Maximum Input?

I’m wondering if my OS Voyager’s External Audio In has a maximum input level – or is it possible to damage the circuitry by putting an extremely loud signal into it? For example, the OSC Out on my Freq Box is going to the input on the Voyager and the Voyager’s clipping LED is constantly red. Is this something that could cause damage? I’m a bit paranoid after having my OS fixed due to faulty chips on Oscillator 2 and 3.

thank you!

There is a dedicated volume knob for the external signal input in the mixer section, simply use it to lower the amplitude level of your external signal.

Oddly, the incoming signal does not decrease when using the mix knob. Thanks for your advice, it is appreciated!

The overload LED should stop flashing when turning down the volume knob for the external input… Hmm, strange…

Is this knob an input volume control or a mix control ?

Both.

You can always just attenuate the signal with a mixer channel or a 100K pot wired with tip to and ground to either outside pin (depending on what orientation you want) and center pin on the pot to tip of a plug that goes into Voyager.
