I recently bought a 2nd hand Voyager and I’ve noticed that after it’s just powered on Oscillator 2’s tuning is not properly scaled on the keyboard.
For example, instead of an octave spanning from key C up to C, it spans from C up to C# (one note higher).
Oscillator 1 & 3 are fine.
This problem disappears after the Voyager has been left powered on for a while, and Oscillator 2 is then perfectly in tune across an octave on the keyboard.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
What does it mean “for a while”?
10 minutes … half an hour?

If it is in tune after half an hour it is fine.

I usually power up my voyager half an hour before playing. Then, the tuning is rock-solid!
… “for a while” means for over 1 hour but I’ve not quantified exactly when the Voyager gets back in tune, certainly over 30 mins.
I always power it up about 20 min before playing and double check with a tuner in protools, like the tuner I have in Amplitube or something similar.
An hour is pretty long to heat up though, also what sounds do you use to tune it? You need a solid/steady patch without much modulation, like a lead sound or so.
Your tuner might go a bit wacky otherwise and go from C to C# etc
