Voyager Backlight Hum DIY solution? schematic?

Hi, I have an early Voyager Electric Blue in Australia with the high pitch hum when the backlight is ON.

Is there a DIY solution to fix this? a schematic on what to alter? a board that I can order and have replaced locally?
