vocals through midimurf?

I cant find any videos or samples on the web where someone is singing/speaking through a midimurf..
Have you seen any?

I think it would render the words unintelligible, but maybe not. Give it a try and post the result?

No way, not unless you had super intense and fast modulation. That would be cool though. Just playing the filters is would be like running it through a graphic eq with high resonance. Probably.

One approach to using a Murf with vocals would be to use Pattern 1, which is essentially no pattern. This allows you to have the Murf act as a graphic EQ. You can still use the LFO to modulate the center frequencies which is a subtle effect best heard on Pattern 1. If one decides to use one of the other Patterns, setting the envelope at 12:00 will give a more subtle result than 3:00 or 9:00. Also, even the most extreme settings can be used with vocals as long as the Mix knob is set tastefully.

I dont have one, thats why I ask…

Cant find any demoes or audio samples or anything on the subject.
Im getting either a murf or an oto biscuit.

They are similar in that they are both sequenced filter effects. So, you can pull off some similar things. But …

they both add tons of color. An each unit’s color is very distinctive.

Murf: croaky, robotic, throaty/whispy, punchy

Biscuit: crunchy, buttery, bleeepy, grimey-dirty-filth
