Video Editing SOftware I know...off topic...

I want to make more and More Moog demos, but keeping them under 10 minutes is difficult.

I really need the abillite to split up a video so that I can post a new demo.

Windows Movie Maker doesn’t exist too. We can’t get it on the other PC through updates or anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Eric

Time for a Mac!

Ulead Video studio or MGI VideoWave I think can do it. They were free with a video card I got a while back. Tonight, when I’m home I can check for you. If they work, I can give you one of them, I don’t use them and the discs are just getting dusty on a shelf.

Look into Quick Time Pro.
It can do cuts-only edits, and I believe fades as well, plus you can strip or add audio.
Don’t know if there’s a PC version, but for a Mac it’s $30.

Adobe Premier is useful. It offers quite a few codecs for all sorts of formats. It comes with all the basic tools you need. For really polished video After Effects has all your post processing needs. I believe they have a 30 day back guarantee if you buy it through them.

Geez…Adobe Premier costs almost as much as a MuRF! :open_mouth:

Actually I broke down and bought roxio video lab 10.

THanks guys.

Next step is to break down and buy a Mac.

Opps, I’m late to the party! I was going to suggest Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum, that’s what I use and I really like it. Only a little over $70. Free trial download on Sony’s site.
