Velocity Sensitivity in SP

Hi there!

Does anyone knows how to make the SP responsive to velocity?

Cause when i set different velocities in the midi clip (ableton) the timbres sounds all the same, even if a note has a high velocity and the other has a low velocity setting, the overall timbre sounds the same.

I wanted, for example, the filter to open when i hit a key harder, and closed when hit softer.

Or make it sound louder if hit harder, or sound lower when hit soflty.

Hope you moog experts can point me a direction, cause i didn’t find anything related to this in the manual.

The Velocity sensitivity to volume feature was added in some latest OS updates. Earlier we were able to set only velocity to filter sensitivity, but not to the volume of notes.

  1. Go to the Advanced preset menu, then set the Vol sens (and Filt sens) values. If you don’t have the Vol sens option there, then:
  2. Upload the latest firmware from this topic
  3. Go to the Advanced preset menu, then set the Vol sens (and Filt sens) values.
