VCA control via 911/902

I get good control of my 904 when I route a 911 thru a 902 and get the 911 signal back out into the 904 control and vary the control level of the 902 via keyboard velocity.
But when I feed the signal to an outgoing VCA to control volume it doesn’t work very good at all, it seems the signal from the control 902 is just not powerful enough, I have to “bang” the keys to generate enough velocity to get the outgoing VCA to pass audio at a suitable level and then its quite bitty and intermittent. Ive tried various routings but no good results .

So the patch is
911 ---- 902 = controlled by keyboard velocity… Into control of second 902 passing the audio signal.
(Not sure how to include diagram)

Are these Moog modules - Envelope Gen & VCA - that you are referring to. Because as far as I am aware, they are not velocity sensitive… also the Moog keyboards don’t output velocity information..!

Chers,
Tom

I just solved it!!! The keyboard midi velocity out goes straight to a 902 in - then out to the VCA controller controlling audio out. Success !!
Thanx anyway Tom.
