sorry for my poor english.
i have a problem with my LP stage edition…i try to update the OS (1.03s) to a 2.2…
There was an error in the stage1…“ERROR CYCLE POWER” appear on display…now, the dislpay shows “send firmware sx”…
I need the file sysex, but can not find it…why???
i would try to send the sysex using midiOX, before buying the debugger adapter…
I need my daily dose of moog

I think you need to update to a version between 1.2 and 2.2, not sure which one though. It doesn’t sound like you need the debugger, just the software of the phatty’s webpage.

I contacted Amos in pvt, and sent me the 2.0 O.S. but unfortunately does not work…
i have the same problem “STAGE 1 ERROR CYCLE POWER”…after 10sec about… 
I’ll try another MIDI interface…maybe is a problem of behringer BCR2OOO
I hope to resolve quickly…
please mention where you live, maybe you’ll need the USB debugger and plenty of them are around here.. but the globe is big, but you might be lucky 
If you need one, maybe it’s worthwhile asking for one here. I have one and only used it once, I’m from Holland, if you need one and live here too, feel free to contact me 
the error happens because data to the LP is corrupted.
This data corruption usually happens due to some driver problem or similar with the MIDI interface hardware.
As long as the LP still responds when you send a firmware sysex, you don’t need a debugger.
you just need a MIDI setup that works reliably for sending large sysEx files.
Maybe there’s a new driver for the BCR2000? If not, maybe you can borrow some other usb-MIDI interface,
make sure you install correct drivers for it, and try again. This should work.
Also, I forgot to send you the sysex-format file for OS 2.0; I apologise… remind me via email and I’ll do it.

There has been good success with the M-Audio midisport uno. I have not heard of a failed attempt using that as the interface.

I try to transmit the file with a old motu midi express XT…I’m waiting for the chip to make it work under Windows…the behringer BCR2000 is installed with the latest drivers

Hi everybody. I’ve the same “STAGE 1 ERROR CYCLE POWER” error when i’m tried to update my Little Phatty Stage via Midi with a Midi Keyboard Controler (BCT Midiplus Origin 49). I’ve the Debug adapter but i need the Hex Files. Can anybody send me the file?
