Using Voyager in zero G

Well, not exactly. The top of my Hammond A100 is too shallow to hold the V without it toppling off the back. After much thought, this is my idea:

Drill 2 holes in the bottom of the Voyager chassis. Put T-nuts in the top of the Hammond. Use those bolts that they use to hold keyboard stands together to screw the V onto the Hammond. Simple, fast and sturdy.

Any other ideas?

the thought of drilling holes for t-nuts in the hammond top and holes through the voyager chassis makes me cringe. can’t you build a stand for the voyager that attaches to the back of the hammond (and lays over the top), or better yet, something that stands on the floor under the hammond…?

The Hammond is chopped, hot-rodded and covered with white truck bed liner. 2 more holes shouldn’t faze it!

in that case, forget the t-nuts and use a couple of big lag bolts…

…or a coupla big sheets of velcro

velcro won’t stick to the truck bed stuff

ok…my final thoughts…i would build an elevated/angled stand made of wood for the voyager right onto the top of the hammond and spray it with the bedliner stuff
