Using external CV to clock the Sub 37 arpeggiator

I’d like to control the speed of the Sub 37’s arpeggiator speed from an external CV source. I have a modular synthesizer with some sequencers and I’d like to have the rate of the Sub 37 arpeggiator set by either;

a> the clock out of one of the sequencers or
b> an LFO which happens to be clocking my modular’s sequencer

Is this possible through mapping of the CV inputs on the Sub 37?

I know it can be done via MIDI (I’ve done it this way many times) but my modular doesn’t output MIDI so CV is the way I’d like to go.

Follow up question…

Is it possible to control the arpeggiator’s Start and Stop functions through an external control voltage?

Maybe you can map the gate input to the tap button? I don’t have my Sub 37 besides me, but I think this might work…

There doesn’t seem to be a way to map the CV to the Tap feature. I can map the Gate CV In to the Arp Sync feature but that just turns sync on and off at the speed of the control voltage.

I’ve played around and still can’t figure out a way to map the control voltage to the Sub 37’s clock if the capability does exist at all.

If it doesn’t perhaps the folks at Moog would consider making the ability to map an incoming control voltage to the arpeggiator’s clock a feature in the next upgrade.

Route CV to step advance. You will be stuck with the incoming rythm/diversion, but it gives you the fredom to insert any pattern.
