Using 21-note synths

One question I’ve got for users of MicroMoog, Prodigy, Rogue and MG-1. How able are you to use the keyboard in each of these? To me, 32 notes seems rather limited at first glance.

(I sometimes even find a limitation with a 37-note synth, like on the Source, ARP Odyssey and Axxe, though not as much as a 32-note keyboard..)

Maybe, most of you use them for the bass synth application. In that realm, it’s understandable, since those boards cover the range of the Rhodes piano bass.

this is not a real limitation to me. Remember many monophonic accoustic instruments got a notespan of less then three octaves. And no one complains. For a bass sound or a melody three octaves will do the job. Atleast for me.
